About This File

A single player wad for Doom 2. Medium-sized difficulty. Multiplayer is supported. I have done a better job in this wad of aligning every texture and eliminating the HOM effects. The color selection is better as well. Hope you like it!

I don't get it, why put Map27 for music when you said this is needed "ZDoom 2.2.0"...*facepalm* Whatever, it's a OK map. 3/5 - playerlin

No. No. No. This is linear in the worst way (ie - boxy rooms strung together in a line) with ugly, random details and the philosophy that more mosters = more fun. It doesn't. This wad should have been aborted before it saw the light of day. Just because you make something doesn't mean you have to share it.

Fairly typical newbie slaughter map, but its a good one. Still has a few HOMs and moving doortraks though.

Try to get help from the doom community at www.doomworld.com. There you will get to know about how to import custom textures and music in 1 wad, it’s annoying to switch over to map 27, just for the music, also: you can easily get stuck in some places, ...but the colors look good so far 1,5/5, improve yourself and you will become a great mapper!

Despite some slow monster teleporters, I thought this was mega fun. Slaughter gameplay with generous ammo and powerups. But, you get stuck in the room after the yellow door, I think because the walk over lines around the 4 small rooms in the corners can't be walked over because they're too close to the wall, or because some sectors beside the doors have the same height as the floor. You can rjump though, but then you get stuck in the next room too. Bugs need to be fixed.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
