Unidoom Deathmatch X

These maps are great for deathmatching, or even sightseeing if you don't feel like blowing up everybody else. You can throw up a server on Zandro, slap UniDoom X on it, and have a great time. The only problem I have is that there's a map with a horribly loud soundtrack on it. But otherwise, this is perfect to grab a few friends, and shotgun eachother out all day.

UDM3 will always be the best UDM wad. It is deathmatch perfection, comparing anything to it is simply a waste of time. That said, these maps are really enjoyable and the new palette is gorgeous, as to be expected from UD wads. I think my main gripe is that there are too many wide-open areas. Perfect for 4+ players but it can get tedious with a 1v1. Anyway, download this and play it. It's great fun.

Not the best wad i've played, too much hype over this one and basic same old shit. Some of the textures in the wad dont make any sense and a good fraction of the game play involves wide open spaces and some of the easiest bfg/sphere grabs i've seen in a wad in a while. If you want to waste your time digging through a 32 map pack looking for a new and exciting deathmatch, i would suggest looking elsewhere. -Anonymous

Destined to be one of the most overrated wads for 2009.

This is probably the most overrated wad I've seen in a while, when I saw it was released I was all like "woo this should be friggin awesome", but then I played it and... I was kinda disappointed. All the maps are just too wide open, the bfg's and power ups are way too easy to get, the music is just awful and worst of all. Worst of all, the gameplay isn't all that great. So for all of those who are hyped up about this wad, and think its great, they are just doing it because its UD.
