Great fun, but only if you are VERY good or have lots of patience, even on the easier difficulites. I have a feeling that the authors don't really know the skill level of less than stellar doom players. Still good though. 3/5

The UV difficulty in this sequel is near perfection. 5 stars.

Definitely BETTER (and also harder!) than the Plutonia Experiment. I love how this one uses a lot of new elements - they even changed the looks of the Gatekeeper demon at the end, something you don't see too often in most WADs. The only downside of it is probably it's high difficulty level, but otherwise, it's flawless, if this and Requiem were official releases I'd totally purchase them instead of the official Final Doom! :)

This WAD is a mixed bag for me. It's impressive in its concept: A sequel to Plutonia that is a mirror image of its maps, but with way more challenges and far more complicated maps. It's certainly a visual feat and I really enjoyed the idea behind the project...but I felt that there were too many levels that felt overly long to me, like they were drug out for no reason. I feel bad saying this, but that's how I felt. But, it's worth a play through.

Quite possibly the best DOOM 2 out there. It's so good, it feels like a true commercial product rather than a fan-made PWAD game. Give this a true, guys. Five fuckin' stars.

Can't believe this is so highly rated. Took this long to come out and full of bad texture alignments, boring levels, and tons of nopass linedefs? No thanks.

Okay, there's this whole argument between PL2/PRCP on 'Which is beter?', and both sides have their merits. But PL1 is simply a timeless classic that many wads, these among them, take nods from, but one that IMO will never be dethroned. I'd go so far as to it's the most balanced, consistent, and plain addictively FUN of all the commercial IWADs. That's just how it is. We need to treat PL2/PRCP for what they are: great inspired community projects that all should play. And for that, an easy 4.5(5)/5. -kakhome1

All in all a nice project. I partially agree with everybody saying that this mapset only rarely gives you a real plutonia feeling. Besides that I found the overuse of Chaingunners extremly annoying... sure the original Plutonia had a lot of those as well, but here almost every trap in every single map features a group of them. Still 4/5

Great Sequel, but lacks from a few issues stated many times before. Skulltag wise, I'd love to see a Plutonia 2 with map info 33+, so the original 32 levels of plutonia 1 can be played along with the new 32 levels.

@Logan: Use the difficulty levels... It's a solid mapset. As typical of community efforts, there are some duds. But even those aren't so big a blunder. 5/5

With the exception of a couple maps feeling out of place, Generally a solid unofficial sequel.

Hyped. Just hyped. It is an ok set, architecture is nice but there are many stupid limitations, some bugs and the enemy masses that suddenly drop on you like 20 arch viles from all directions just sucks ass. While ammo is ok the hilarious amounts of hard enemies make it just frustrating to play. Monsters always come compressed an in large masses. That is going to be dull after a while. Definitely not epic. But also not ugly.

Good work, not exactly faithful to the original Plutonia (with the exception of some maps), but a very well done tribute to it. 5 Stars.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
