Can't believe this is so highly rated. Took this long to come out and full of bad texture alignments, boring levels, and tons of nopass linedefs? No thanks.

false title the true pl2 is prcp wad , this wad use plutonia textures but the gameplay definitely not remind plutonia, the map are too huge which is not the case in the original plutonia.3/5

Okay, there's this whole argument between PL2/PRCP on 'Which is beter?', and both sides have their merits. But PL1 is simply a timeless classic that many wads, these among them, take nods from, but one that IMO will never be dethroned. I'd go so far as to it's the most balanced, consistent, and plain addictively FUN of all the commercial IWADs. That's just how it is. We need to treat PL2/PRCP for what they are: great inspired community projects that all should play. And for that, an easy 4.5(5)/5. -kakhome1

All in all a nice project. I partially agree with everybody saying that this mapset only rarely gives you a real plutonia feeling. Besides that I found the overuse of Chaingunners extremly annoying... sure the original Plutonia had a lot of those as well, but here almost every trap in every single map features a group of them. Still 4/5

Great Sequel, but lacks from a few issues stated many times before. Skulltag wise, I'd love to see a Plutonia 2 with map info 33+, so the original 32 levels of plutonia 1 can be played along with the new 32 levels.

@Logan: Use the difficulty levels... It's a solid mapset. As typical of community efforts, there are some duds. But even those aren't so big a blunder. 5/5

With the exception of a couple maps feeling out of place, Generally a solid unofficial sequel.

Hyped. Just hyped. It is an ok set, architecture is nice but there are many stupid limitations, some bugs and the enemy masses that suddenly drop on you like 20 arch viles from all directions just sucks ass. While ammo is ok the hilarious amounts of hard enemies make it just frustrating to play. Monsters always come compressed an in large masses. That is going to be dull after a while. Definitely not epic. But also not ugly.

Good work, not exactly faithful to the original Plutonia (with the exception of some maps), but a very well done tribute to it. 5 Stars.

Gives back the Original DooM Style. there is no new monsters (and thats good for this WAD.) And very good, challenging Maps. 5/5. Live forever, PL2.

Well ... the maps are GOOD, i guess. But many of them DON'T feel like the original Plutonia. To me, it just seems that this is a random megawad that simply has the Plutonia name tacked onto it so that players will make a huge deal about it. Sorry if it's just me, but it seems that Plutonia2 just doesn't satisfy. 3/5 -- ph33r

I thank the entire Plutonia 2 team for putting together such an epic project. This is probably the absolute best Co-op wad I have ever played. This is a must have for any doomer. And for those who have complaints, I don't see how you could not rate this wad a perfect 5/5.

Nicely done. I Like that the authors didn't spam monsters into the levels, and actually made an effort to make them hard for reasons other than monster count.

Picture this: you are playing a community project megawad and are still within the first ten levels. Some of the levels you have already played are fun but then you arrive here. Nothing bad or good and is over before you know it. The perfect level between two good levels in a megawad.
Vanillic Acid is not part of a megawad or even a level set but exhibits all of the characteristics of a filler level. It has all the base characteristics of a Doom level and fails to do anything interesting with it. This level isn't bad but in the ocean of idgames why bother taking the time to play this one?

Awesome midis. Some maps appear to be filler? I don't dislike them. I like to take breaths. My absolute favorite is Procustes Chambers (24). Replayed and re-enjoyed again. Great music!

Very worthwhile map, starts out pretty tough, then becomes more manageable, but always challenging enough. Plenty of chaingunners, Barons, Revenants etc, but the big two are absent. All it really needs is a bit more of a 'big bang' ending.

My favorites list: 10, 11, 12 and 23. Lots of city maps (I don't like them), or inspired by renowned ones.

This map pack may not aged well, but some places are nice to see.
Specially, the wharf itself with nearby buildings.
