Complaints: Lot of pickups placed in the players path. C'mon...why do authors still do this? I just love burning a whole medpack when my health is at 99% so I can flip a switch. A lot of repetitive battles with baddies (revnents, archies,etc.). Too many chaingunners (again, repetitive). The Good: That said, the rest of this wad is outstanding. Level design/flow is good...and plenty of good gameplay situations that more than negate the mentioned issues above. Definitely worth the download. 4/5

It didn't really feel like Plutonia as much as it perhaps should; there were more textures, the maps are often a lot bigger, there are more true slaughter moments, etc. But even if its title seems a bit unfit, I enjoyed it a lot as an independent entity; it had all the core elements for an enjoyable adventure on its own, so that's just what it was. In the end, not sure if it's deserving of the Plutonia name (and I prefer not to compare it to Plutonia) but viewed on its own merits I'll give it 5/5.

Some great maps, some good maps, and some maps... that aren't so good. Still, the good outweights the bad by far, and there's always the possibility to just skip the bad maps. 5/5

This wad is "plutonian" only in terms of overall texturing. Neither gameplay or geometry are resembling original wad much IMO. Still, I don't think it's a bad thing, just misleading a bit. Great megawad, one amongst the best.

Sorry but, while this is a solid wad, it is by no means a worthy sequel to Plutonia. The maps are just too different from the perfection known as Plutonia Experiment, and they're way too hard. Plutonia wasn't hard, it was PERFECT in its difficulty, a wad needs to be FUN not hard. And overall the maps are too long and complex, plutonia was about small maps with fast-paced action.

If the first Plutonia wasn't enough for any Doomer, this is definitely their answer to the problem. The music is just plain awesome (although it was awful at some times, but it had its moments) and although enemies do come in overwhelming numbers, they aren't impossible. It's even better when played online, because it's just THAT great. Some of the levels are so well designed that it certainly fits the atmosphere. 5/5. Don't need to really explain it much anymore as it speaks for itself.

Plutonia 2 is PERFECTION, no wad or megawad can surpass pl2, visuals, level design, replayability and action-packed thanks specially to Gusta who made most of the maps. Prcp is a failed attempt to match PL2, 'cause there's no match for pl2. Plutonia 2 is a legend, 5/5 - MarkAnthony

played this on the brutal doom pk3 and I have to say that this is an amazing wad. has the classic feel but enough variation to keep it from being just another clone.WAD the music feels old school. the difficulty and challenge were good. 5/5

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.
