superb, waiting for newer release

Very underrated.

This is a pretty solid and very unique experience, and I can't want for the next episode. It somewhat reminded me of Starfox for the SNES, which is a good thing. The VTOL movement and the retro feel just absolutely make this. ~prdarkfox

Regardless of what the author seems to say about it being his own little idea, the basic gameplay, the look, and even the name are directly lifted from an old DOS game by the same name. http://www.homeofthe underdogs.net/game.p hp?id=1232 It is different enough to stand as its own, however, and is quite enjoyable as a retro experience. Just think that it's a bit unfair that the author didn't admit his inspiration for this... either that or it's the biggest damn coincidence of the century.

Cool, brings new ideas into Doom. Basic weapons are a bit underpowered though.

This is fantastic. It reminds me of the game Forsaken. I'm halfway through so far. The level design has been exemplary.

Who on earth rates this more then 1 star? Seriously you need to be high to enjoy this garbage. And I don't do drugs... so it doesn't do it for me. I'm sure ecstasy users would love it. This is absolute vomit. I don't even know what I can say about it. 0/5. I would give it a negative rating if possible.

It's not quite vomit, but pretty bad. All the author did was make all the textures solid colors with slopey/geometric architecture. Then make the player flying and throw in some random monsters drawn in paint...

^ obviously the above 2 people dont much like retro style games, this mappack however is excellent, while the sprites may be 'crudely' drawn it adds to the charm and retro feel 5'd

This is certainly original, and I appreciate the work gone into making this, no one has considered that making all those new sprites must have been tough, and the map design is excellent, but there are a number of things that stopped me playing after a few levels, the sound effects are odd and seem misplaced and the solid textures are just ugly, so 3 stars.

Original, that's sure. Gameplay was kind of new to me, because i've never seen some gameplay similar to this one, unless i'm mistaken. The great quantity of effort put in this wad can be seen by the quality of the layout the maps have: wacky, and pretty much unique. Though textures are a bit eyes-killers, but that's not much of an issue if you lower the brightness of your monitor. Anyway, nice wad and unique DooM TC. I give this a 5/5.

Not bad, presents a new and refreshing idea to the world of Doom. Certainly not perfect by any means but worth a look if you're in the mood for something other than Doom.

^ Reviews like the one above make me laugh. Why is it vomit? At least some of the other people explained why it was crappy to them. Another thing is that you don't leave your name, which makes me think of you as just a coward spammer, ruining things pointlessly.Now about the wad, I liked it. It wasn't right up my alley, but eh, still fun. Stars for originality and fun, -1 star for it not quite being my type, and for some of the rather loud and annoying sounds. 4/5-Mik57

The idea and concept of this mod is quite good, but poorly executed IMO. Gameplay seems a bit unbalanced, with the first 2 weapons you get being horribly underpowered, so it takes frustratingly long to kill all enemys in an area. I'm also not a fan of the solid color walls etc. The graphic-style of the new sprites is a bit basic, but it works well enough... couldn't the author have invested some more time to make textures in the same quality? 3/5

This mod is awesome, and I can't wait the next episodes... I have only one thing complain about... ammo are a little tight. But it doesn't screw up this mod. I gave this 4.5/5. -playerlin
