May be nostalgia, as this was actually my first WAD, but man is this pretty neat. I really like the story and ideas, and it's clear that a lot of hard work went into it!

A bit odd at times, but creative and original. Lots of nice 'realistic' touches.

Hmm... Map layouts / architecture is overall a bit primitive, not too say: simple. Texture use is consistent to the point of monotonous. Sadly the gameplay does imho not match at all with the high ratings here: there's almost no strategy, and overall monster placement looks very uninterested. Which makes gameplay quite boring. Small 4* for the effort & 2* for the gameplay = 3* for a one-play experience of what gives me an impression of a sort-of jokewad.

I think this wad is legendary for its unique concept. The resulting atmosphere impressed me so much that I'm totally willing to overlook flaws in level design. Killing marines with little health in a semi-realistic environment was satisfying. 5/5

Sorry, but I quite around Map08 because the ammo balance was just getting unfair. And difficulty setting are only very lightly provided. Play a few maps at the beginning, then stop, or at least don't pistol start the maps.

I didn't enjoy this at all. Too many hitscanners in dark hallways for my tastes; lost interest before I even finished MAP02.

This is one of Doomkid's first wads ever published. I like it, even though it is riddled with some flaws here and there, but it is a different kind of Doom experience than most wads on /idgames. For one thing, Doomkid's mapping skills have improved A LOT since his release of UAC Rebellion. I recommend looking into some of his other works, especially his Deathmatch wads. 4/5

If you're allergic to hitscan monsters, you should probabally avoid this mapset.

I'm halfway through and it's really good! It might've been average as a usual mapset full of hellspawn, but you weren't afraid to experiment and there are new enemies and some little new things that make it more immersing, like the new objects and signs on walls. Story may feel "laughable" for someone, but still, I prefer it over the 1000th "After stopping 999 hellspawn invasions, the unexpectable happened: a hellspawn invasion". Originality and creativity is what I like the most, Therefore 5 stars.

A mini map set that started out pretty okay imho. After a while the cramped map design got to me for a bit. This was just a pretty average set to begin with. Play it if your bored or need something new you haven't covered yet. 3/5-Candle M

Ahaha... this wad is something else entirely. It's one of those serious wads that's just so ridiculous that it seems like a jokewad. Nothing too bad about it, besides cramped level design, but the ripped resources and "story" are rather laughable. 3/5

Bleh, the levels just fade away into mediocrity within the first couple of minutes.

Ammo balance was unfair? I never had any issues getting through it. There was more then enough. It's nothing special though. It's good fun, but nothing awesome. The level design leaves some to be desired. Not hard at all even on UV. 3/5

Level design could have been better but it's really fun to play something new, with new enemies and reworked marines. The one shooting a pistol is amazing. Would like to see it in more mods.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
