I don't see why this has such a high score. It looks terrible, and it sure as hell plays terrible. A few shitty ZDoom features do not save a shitty map. 0/5

I see why this has such a high score. It looks great, and it sure as hell plays great. A few cool ZDoom features save a cool map. 5/5

I didn't like the beginning part (up to the teleporter, minus the first room; that was cool) too much, as killing imps and pistolers with a pistol is boring IMO. But afterwards, a very well done map, and quite long too. I rarely found either an excess or deficit of health and ammo. I'll give it 5 stars, albeit hestitantly because of the beginning, but I enjoyed the rest enough that I've decided to just forgive the beginning, though in technicality I am dropping half a star for it. 4.5(5)/5

I'm inclined to agree with the first dude. This was very creepy and well paced. Though I wonder whether it should have been split into two levels.

^Agreed. Although this is a very nice looking map, it is definitely not the best start ever. It is also one of those 'run around killing loads of easy monsters with a pistol' maps - I got bored in a minute flat. 4/5 -1 -1 = 2/5 try harder!

*gasp* Well-used stealth monsters?! I like this, a lot. Architecture looks good, nice teleport effect with the faces, and good music choice. Nice corrupted base-style map.

An original and quite impressive modern ZDoom map, replacing MAP01. A difficult yet not imbalanced techbase that is definitely worth a look, and should provide ample challenge. 4/5

I thought that this map was really good. To the guy above me it is not one of those pistol maps. Its paced so you have the pistol just till you get through the starting area. Give the guy a break. 5/5

This deserves 4/5 but due to terrible bug it's unbeatable in cooperative. Next time make sure your items have correct flags set, check the blue key. 1/5 - Zalewa

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
