About This File

". . . Human dirtbag . . . So you played the original level, and now you're coming back for more punishment ? You must like living in HELL . . . We won't let you down !!! . . . "

If you've never played this .WAD, then please, read on . . .

The planet you crashed on is definitely evil ! And you can't go back. Your ship looks like it was sent to the 'Cuisinart People' for a major chew. You find your way into the only structure in sight, but much to your dismay, the exit behind you is sealed. The only way out is ahead, which doesn't look good . . .

You are ambushed at every corner. Does it ever end ?? Quick ! Duck into a passageway ! Safe now, but one wrong move, and you're HISTORY ! You read in an ancient tome that there are clues to guide you, sometimes forged into the very walls themselves ! Imagine that ?! You remember an Oracle like that not too long ago, as a matter of fact . . . All you have to do is be sharp, and you may get out of this alive . . .

Well . . . are you game ? ? ? ? ?

One of the best parts of these old wads are the text files. Makes me remember the good old days :)

I'm sure I've played this before (downloaded from here?!?). Anyway! This is a typical not-so-good, but playable 1996 wad. I got about half way through and became so bored, I deleted it and went looking for something better. 2/5

Scott Harper made some great maps. Thanks to him and to RL for uploading it. Please continue to do so.

This level is what classic Dooming is all about: hyperactive textfiles, not-so-pretty design, and tough non-linear gameplay. It's like if Sandy Petersen made a Plutonia map! The best AND worst part is the crazy hexagonal lift section since it goes so fast and you're bound to die from all the chaingunners. Anyone who hates this wad needs to go back to playing Halo. 5/5

I liked this, I think it's from one of the heroes wads.

Decent map, and to the guy above, it looks like some modified version of heroes2.wad Map02.

Had that 1995 Doom2 wad feeling. It's a pitty it's so confusing and also a bit hard. Although the hexagon lifts are epic but yes too many lifts. Too confusing. 2.5/5 - Optimus

Excellent map. Scott Harper's creations are all worth playing. The honeycomb section is great.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
