Awesome work - high quality in layout, detail and gameplay throughout 35 maps. Really one of the best megawads out there. 4.5/5

The first 15 levels are mediocre, but the second half of the wad is excellent! Maps 25-30 are some of the best hell levels I have ever played.

Message to Don Paolito: mostly good maps but I'm getting pissed time and time again because there are no hints for the secrets. Doing this for yourself? - still sucks for the player. Want players to feel the secrets depending on the situation? - still sucks for the player who has to hump every fucking pixel and isn't a clairvoyant. I'm at map 11, stopped and picked this up twice already, but this time I'm done here. 3/5

Play this only for the hell maps (and the nazi maps), the rest is actually pretty boring.

5 - This is a REALLY great wad, I haven't touched Doom for at least 5 months, and am glad this wad was finally finished...I do wish the music went along with the levels a lot more...it almost seemed like I was listening to the same music over and over again...I am not used to this in Wads made by Paul and Kristian. But as far as the actual levels go, a great wad. I just wish the music was more engrossing like 2002 A Doom Odyssey.

This is great so far, but it seems a lot of door triggers are broken in PrBoom. I can mostly IDCLIP around them, but what fun is that? :/

Starts off kind of slow and plain with rather unimpressive maps. But it becomes something very complex and engaging as the levels pass. The levels become more visually interesting, the challenges become more complex, and the level designs become more original. It's definitely a great WAD to play, and it's worth the boring beginning. Definitely one of the most entertaining and challenging WADs out there.

Gameplay was pretty vanilla and boring. Some levels really stood out amongst the copy/paste jobs. Overall a good megawad, but not a great one.

Hopelessly overrated... While Aro's maps are passable for the most part (this review does not apply to them), it confirms again that pcorf SUCKS as a mapper. From all the copy paste and dull repetitive symmetry (too lazy to even vary monster placement in the different rooms wtf) to the awful gameplay (either predictable snoozefest or annoying traps) to the unmarked secrets... Have always taken care to steer clear of pcorf wads but gave this a try because of all the hype... big MEH from me

Well while I was looking on another unrelated forum it struck me: Occasional symmetric designs in Doom aren't as bad as so many reviews here it out to be. That's why I enjoyed this wad thoroughly and am giving it 5 stars, well done!

The earlier maps are... mehx! i almost wanted to delete this wad after repeating what i need to do for the first 15 maps or so. and what happened to some of the musics? this wad is too much of the mix of the perfect and the terrible. play this wad only for the later maps if you ask me.

It has some awesome thematic shifts as well as a constantly changing atmopshere, but I think this is a diversity that doesn't extend to the authors' mapping styles and serves as much to draw out the consistent downfalls in design (such an ongoing symmetry and clean-cut geometry) as it does to keep the player afloat with interest in this regard. A finely crafted megawad to be sure, but not courageous enough to be standout and otherwise too predictable to play through. [3.5]*
