This mod is COMPATIBLE WITH BEAUTIFUL DOOM v. 5.0 (older versions will work not properly), but it doesn't require it, Russian Arsenal can work standalone as well. As the title implies, it's just a set of Russian firearms. And they don't look too hot. But they work. But note, that weapons with low accuracy CAN NOT be used for sniping, because low accuracy applies to each and every shot, including the first one (unlike usually in Doom), except AK-74 (its single shots are accurate). Check weapdesc.txt for more information. There's also detailed description of the guns inside DECORATE lump in the wad.

I have no clue why, but i love having powerful hit-scan weapons like the ak-47 as opposed to the plasma rifl. 5/5

My biggest problem with the mod is the stall time on the double barrel shotgun and reloading it. It feels like there is a huge time where the gun sits there and does nothing. The RPG is pretty much badass though. -Rater

My cousin and I love russian weapons, and this is the only mod that includes a reloading system and is the only one we found so far, also it's the most perfect. 5/5 hands down

Not a bad mod, manages to keep the weapons distinct despite most of them being hitscans. However, I found the implementation to be a little bit buggy (the Bizon's muzzle flash hovers several inches from the barrel) and the model-ripped graphics need a LOT of work, especially for lighting, contrast, and trimming the white edges from them. The SAIGA appears almost completely black with no shading at all. Could be much improved with better weapon graphics. -ww (3/5)

Code seems pretty good, but the rips are horrible. I'll still give it a 4 just because it works nicely, at least.

nice work. I have a few criticisms, however. 1) the sprite graphics are cut short if you play the game in a widescreen resolution. 2) the pistol reload animation doesn't include the slide being pulled back, which is a break in the realism the other weapons exhibit. these are minor problems. awesome weapons mod I will be looking at your code to educate myself!

Very good work. Uses the Beautiful Doom effects very well. Loved the Bizon. RPG-7 was fun to use. When you pick up Berserk, the fists become an unbalanced joy to use. 4/5 -Firestorm

I know the rips aren't good. But they looked OK when I was making them. Should've made them darker and with more contrast. Well, maybe once I will. A for monsters -- well, I changed zombies' weapons. I didn't really intend to add monsters. But it works fine with mosnter wads :). Thanks for your kind words anyway. -zer0

What do you mean "They don't look to hot?" The weapon sprites are great except for the knife's jagged animation and how they get way to bright in some average lit areas. This makes DooM very much more fun also. But, I was wondering if you could add some custom monsters. 5/5

      Superb firework display of thousands of fireballs seeming in slow motion because of the vastness - mostly avoidable as they land where you were ages ago; but worth playing just to see it. A HUGE square surrounded by tiers with hundreds of imps and a few others, plus a blockhouse you can enter first to collect ammo.  Fighting through the hundreds of monsters when you get onto the tiers is another matter, overwhelming at UV. I cheated to finish so at least I could review.  Some HOM bugs.

      Insanity, with voodoo dolls (see second screenshot).  I get the idea of a shooting gallery if that rocks your boat, but 6000 monsters behind railings- as far as the eye can see, FFS! My PC crawled when I looked towards the invuln spheres (someone said 32 k of them and you can't avoid picking up thousands at a time). In the end I cheated with god mode and no-clipping, and waded in among the chaingunners until I got bored.

      Simple, clearly a first wad.  All on the flat with big, brightly lit, and architecturally implausible rooms. The first map has two rooms, the second map one, and the third map one plus a kind of exit lobby. You can do one of two things - just run past the monsters and finish (I did it in 35 seconds), or have a bit of fun killing the monsters first. No noticable bugs. I hope the author will go on (or went on) to greater things.
