About This File

This is my second level - contains, among others, cyberdemons watching a movie, a ruined castle on a peninsula and a karst cave. Should be entertaining in a fairly innovative way, although it has a few challenging moments. Enemy infighting should be utilized as often as possible.

One word to describe this wad is impossible. Seriously your 1st map "Rangex's Pit" is better than this. 1/5 Philnemba

A terrible level and a waste of time. 1/5 stars.

Clearly the mapper wanted to build some challenge, where you are confronted with situations where escape from the regular doom gameplay. You have to use monster infighting, stuck in corners, carefully spot chaingunners in the dark on a crumbled place, balance on thing sectors while archviles are somewhere you can't see, get bored on a deadly big labyrinth (there I stopped). A concept that is not my cup of tea. Too hard, too annoying. The overall level design is very nice though. 2/5 - Optimus

Annoying, if I had to describe this map by using one word. It seems this map was made with that goal in mind, to annoy the fuck out of players. 1/5 - DD

Looks like it could be interesting, but unfortunately, I came to a dead end about 3 seconds in. Tried to decipher what was going on using DoomBuilder, to no avail. Started the game again, thinking perhaps teleporting enemies would somehow release the door. No luck. Can't quite imagine this is how it was meant to be. 2/5 - cjwright79

You're not good for mapping a "kicking player's ass map"... LOL :p Hard as f***ing hell, and it make me think did I playing a shitty Serious Sam-like game! Sorry, I give up on the cave area with shitload of respawning chaingunners because I can't found the way to get out and always get killed, and this map isn't worth for play with god mode. /facepalm -playerlin 2/5

Wow. Words cannot describe how utterly shit this is. 2 Cyberdemons vs Pistol, a room full of endlessly teleporting zombies, a forest full of chaingunners you can't see vertically, a boring infighting slog, MAP24 The Chasm but in the dark and with Archviles, an ACTUAL maze from a puzzle book with no automap, and another boring infighting slog where all you can do is hide. Not to mention HOMs and incorrectly-made doors. Delete Doom Builder, never make another map again. 0/5

Impossible. Why there is Barons and Knights of Hell, but not SuperShotgun. Also, new monsters are not bad (Meet SlumpED, my 7 yeared bro can use it too.). 0/1 (you cant really give more.)

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
