Completely and utterly the mother of all Heretic mods, including all the originals! I guess HOCX would run really close but it has elements from other games too, not purely Heretic. Also there are no borrowed level either. Really not to miss at any cost.

Awesome maps!!! The architecture is amazing and the look of the map is enjoyable from every perspective. And the maps are hard, as I like!!! It seems that this maps where made just for me. You've got 5/5 en mi opinion.- 19Wraith

The difficulty isn't something you would expect from Heretic. This shit is HARD. I mean, very hard. It took a while to get used to the style and difficulty, and in the end it turned out as this great wad. I agree with the first reviewer, Heretic is no more an easy game after this wad! Stunning maps, challenging gameplay for a change and an intense fight in almost every room you enter. Recommended. 4.5 stars. - Moti

I'd been slogging through this for quite a while, and to be honest I wasn't enjoying myself. I reached Icicle and finally gave in to the frustration and boredom. These maps drag on way too long for my liking, the difficulty was annoying (I probably should have gone down a notch, perhaps) and frankly, I don't think I really enjoy Heretic. With that in mind I'll give it 3* -Phobus

An excellent Heretic mod -- If you were looking for a reason to own Heretic, search no further: this is it. The layouts flow well, the battles are challenging but always winnable without cheating, and the architecture is just gorgeous.

This should be the official 6th episode of Heretic: Shadow of the Serpent Riders. This generally picks up (story-wise) where episode 5 has left off. Bigger, better maps, even greater challenge. 5/5 no question about that.

This is awesome, best release ever for Heretic, or at least tied with HOC.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.

A basic and nice looking showroom type of map where monsters are trapped inside glass prisons, no exit and no way to play this with any modern source Port like DSDA-Doom and GZDoom, but works really well in Crispy Doom. It was a pleasant experience.
