It's great as long as I play it in the easiest difficulty level or else there is not enough ammo. The air trap in the first level annoying. Sometimes there are a lot of enemies and also running around not knowing where to go next. Depends on the map. Most are quite cool. Overall I quite enjoyed playing this. 4/5 - Optimus

Irritating sprite replacements, poor maps and very poor use of the Quake textures. 1/5

Funny, but the quake textures are poor, and the music in L1 irritating. 4/5

Nice maps, but sprites and textures could be better i.e. shotgun is off center and looks spazzy on reload, barons don't seem to animate properly when they walk and throw massive weird spiky rock things. Texture colors seem a bit washed out. I still think 4/5 though so good job.

I don't know what this does have to do with Quake apart from textures. This completely doesn't have the Quake's atmosphere. Also CTRL+C CTRL+V 1/5 Zalewa

Level 1-way too basic L2-short but kinda challenging, not too bad L3-big, fun, however rather easy L4-medium sized, a bit easy, still fun L5-lots of ammo but limited health=unfrustrating challenge, best map in the pack L6-again a challenge, should still have enough ammo, some interesting however questionable parts L7-design and architecture best in pack however very frustrating, bare minimum supply of both health and ammo Overall 3.25/5

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
