A great techbase vanilla map, with good level design and fair gameplay balance for the most part. While it may adopt common generic techbase level tropes, the maps looks and plays decent enough that you won't really mind too much. The end ambush is rather disappointing, as while there may be 50 or so enemies spawning in, you can take cover at the room with the last two Keycards, eliminating any kind of threat to there being an abundance of enemies spawning in. I also found that another batch of enemies get stuck near a wall if you decide to stay in the already mentioned room with the Keycards, which makes the last ambush even more disappointing.

I also find the music choice a bit odd though that's just me. Otherwise, a map with solid progression and is fun to blast through.

Another great map by Mr. Chris.

A nice progression towards the attack-fest at the finish.

Good stuff.

Everyone already mentioned the teleporter trap at the end, but everything else is good, fast-paced fun. I don't care how generic a techbase looks, if it's fun to play, I'll enjoy it. This does just that.

10 minutes of techbase fun in the usual Mr Chris style, clever weak enemy placement and secrets which are tough to find. Pretty easy except for the one good trap you'll need to be quick to survive. The end feels nerfed as there's heaps of cover. No idea why anyone would need to cheat on this, it's nowhere near that hard :/ The music's pretty annoying, definitely doesn't suit Doom. 3/5

Nice map but the Pokemon music and walking around at the end wondering where the 50 missing monsters are spoils it.

A pretty good wad, the ambushes are insane and require quick thinking to avoid having your ass toasted. If you have 10 minutes to blow, I hereby recommend this wad. 4/5

Great map indeed! Pretty easy on UV but I enjoyed it! It's like an invasion map for Vanilla Doom2! 5/5! Keep this way of mapping! I loved Pokemon music too lmao xD

A techbase yes, but not really too generic. It doesn't feel familiar at all. Anyway, it all looks good, but I had to type in six cheat codes as to not leave the level prematurely. One idclip, five god modes to regain health. And this was on easy. Still, I would totally recommend it, even if you have to resort to codes. 4/5 - cjwright79

Amazing! Perfect amount of ammo and health for each spot, great detail (for non zdoom maps) that allow for moving around appropriately. Very enjoyable.

The ending is all messed up (the monsters spawn in either slowly or into places where you have no need to visit), but otherwise this is fine tech map. This one Doom II tech, unlike this guy's E2 maps of 09. It is not unfair at all on balance.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
