About This File

You're a Space marine...

Disease. An incurable though tangible threat. The demons prowl among the scorched barrens of Mars. Fleets of cacodemons infest every region. Spectres and imps swarming from every crevice. Deep down under Mars' subterra lies UAC's immense labyrinth of superhuman technology. The underground top secret lair of their most horrific experiments, buried in distress.

This is UAC Ultra.

An 11 (and a half) map levelset for Doom 2 featuring all new textures, a new monster, new music and several other small touches. Difficulty will hopefully keep you on your feet without being ridiculous.

The texture set is available as ultratex.wad

v1.2 fixes bugs on all maps. Plus it works with Eternity. Thanks esselfortium and Doomworld!

I really enjoyed myself here - great set of maps. It gets progressively better with each map; and I liked the use of the new monster as well as the final boss. 5/5 ~vf

It's great. It's not as flashy as Legacy of Suffering, but has a better gameplay and doom 3 appearance. 5/5 Note: has a bug with the map 7 on gzdoom 1.4.08, with older versions I had no problem

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.

A basic and nice looking showroom type of map where monsters are trapped inside glass prisons, no exit and no way to play this with any modern source Port like DSDA-Doom and GZDoom, but works really well in Crispy Doom. It was a pleasant experience.
