About This File

Do you like fighting hordes of hitscanners? No? Then don't play this map. Nothing but hitscanners and hitscan weapons. Intended for people who are addicted to blasting zombies with shotguns (like me).

It is not going to win any awards but it's a lot better than I expected given the description. 4 stars.

A fair short blast-through. Hit-scan traps weren't overly abused and the usual common errors were avoided. Neat tech based textures. 3/5.

Not bad at all. Small level (did it in a little over 12 minutes). Overall design and look is nice. Gameplay is fun. Further in the level there is a dead-end trap. If you fall into the small radiation pit, you'll need to have jumping enabled as you'll be stuck without being able to die...or escape. This would make a good "first level" in a megawad. 3/5

This is kinda smaller than I would like it to be but I really liked it. I love levels with pure shotgun fighting with smaller monsters, especially shotgun troopers because it becomes a furious shoot em up where you mow them fast and grab their guns. This is very nicely done for a small level. 5/5 - Optimus

Wow, hitscan monsters not make me sick! But I think it's still easy on UV because ammo is too many! :p 4/5 -playerlin

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
