About This File

A small wad consists of 2 maps. The maps originally have been constructed in limit- removing format, but there is Boom's action of sky transfer on map 02. You start in a small hotel. An aliens from Pekel world invades in our reallity, so, get ready your weapon and show them kuzma's mother!

In the bloated world of contemporary WAD-making, chock-full of oversized courtyards and halls swarming with hordes of monsters, Shadowman's latest offering is like two gulps of fresh spring breeze. Pieklo (the Old Slavonic for "hellfire") strikes a delicate balance between claustrophobia, aesthetics and nerve-wrecking gameplay. The first map is a tasty appetizer to prepare you for the main course - MAP02. The splendid new graphics blend well with the stock DOOM2 textures. Highly professional work. - N_A

1st map is flat as a pancake. 2nd map has a serious lack of ammo in the beginning. Bleh

Both maps are looking good feeling awesome. Map01 is good, nothings wrong. But map02......I don't like fighting archviles with a shotgun. 100% kills is not easy because lack of ammo on map02. Still beat-able but needed some play skill or play on lower difficulty. 4/5 -playerlin

      Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

      It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

      What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

      thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

      Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.
