About This File

Abstract techbase map with a space sky and a cyberdemon. Designed for the original Doom, and respecting the origi- nal limits -Visplane Overflows, etc-; I know, there is no point in this today, but it was a fun challenge trying to build a pretty scenery while avoiding those limits. I've spent a lot of time refining the gameplay. I Hope it pays and you find the map enjoyable and interesting. Features: * Non-linear. * Two different ways to kill the cyberdemon. * Singleplayer, cooperative and deathmatch. * A 1024x128 space sky with stars and planets. * An exit, and no illusio-pit (sorry!).

Pretty enjoyable map, besides volume of background music. I'm just turned it off and stalk through map in silence, hunting on enemies that waited for me behind each corner. For vanilla-compatible map its very big and complex in structure. Map brings a good survival challenge for player by lack of medikits, forcing to play carefully and without haste.

I remember that i seen boxes with rockets, but not the Rockerlauncher itself. Its strange, but not breaks gameplay.

Overall, its a good example of vanilla gameplay and design.

I totally loved this one (so many nice WADs from the latest bunch). It has some great ideas, inspired either by older stuff, or some secret to get a second red key instead the one from the cybie, nice rooms you might not visit because it's not necessary to end the level, traps I don't want to reveal to not spoil the double fun, also greatly designed, good gameplay hiding behind those pilars from the cybie, atmosphere, sky. 7/5 - Optimus

Damn the music was annoying and loud! So annoying in fact that I rushed through every section Just so I could finish the map! I had to put up with 16min of hell! On a different note, the map is really well designed. Grats.

Not bad, a little hard(lack health)... and... where is the rocket launcher? I can't found it, but this level still beatable without kill cybie. The map layout well designed, music is loud, but it's not bad. 4/5 -playerlin

One of the classic megawads, and the successor to TNT Evilution. I've played this several times over the years, and its grown on me more with each play as my tastes mature.   Still has a bunch of maps that got me killed in 2024, after ive finished stuff like HR and AV, and plenty of maps are memorable. Only real downsides is some of the levels have little content, showing its age.

One of the earliest Doom user maps and It shows. Despite the raw and empty design, the author take a good use of 3D space creating a small fortress surrounded by mountains, the level Is fun to play and not hard. A fancy escapade and a piece of modding history.

Third and final released map of a WIP episode by David Rager, it's more long, complex and hard than the previous entries in the series. A well made map with pretty challenging parts with a mix of monster usage, envoirnmental hazards and some puzzle gameplay. Fun but pretty harsh.

Two more misplaced DM maps without a exit like QUDOOM (that at least had a exit room, while not functional) that caught me by their file name and leave me for the bad experience in SP. Chicken is just a long bridge between a thundering abyss where cyberdemons wants to destroy you, meh. Gangstar is a more fun map sets in a big, abstract warehouse where a cyberdemon roam free trying to kill you, shotgunners and lost souls are here in this Hell corner adding more pain to the thing, enforced by semi-hidden mazes, my favorite.

This is like the physical version of the "we have X at home" meme in DM map format for Quake E1M1. Very poorly made, broken exit and missing textures here and there but at least the level KINDA resembles the original source somehow.
