Hard as hell for me... not bad as first map... good job, but still needed more work! :) The secrets are accessible, but one needed trick but I don't know how and other one you needed hit hidden switch to raise hidden platforms. 3.5/5 -playerlin

:0 Dude, do your thing and don't let that psycho babble about "more gameplay variations" get to you. You tried to account for that in id=16154, and it didn't turn out right. This is doom, and for a first map it's amazing. 5

Slaughtermap with some tricks. Minimal detail but consistent theme. You either like that style or not ; I do. However, one of the secrets seem inaccessible due to a untagged sector blocking it and the other unreachable without an AV jump. 4/5

I like levels with better architecture (It's not terrible, just really blocky) and smaller, ambush style fights. This is just carnage. Not bad if you dig battles against lotsa baddies, but the level design is as basic as abc.

Maybe the visual design is basic...the level design on the other hand is very well executed, and somewhat advanced. The first room looks like wolfenstein but provides an awesome labyrinth to fight in. The part where you fight the revenants is genius. And stuff! 4/5 -magicsofa

Not bad for your 1st map! It is a very basic slaughter map with next to nothing else gong for it. It's fun for what it is and for being your 1st map I can't complain about that lack of whatever else mappers do to make them really fun. Maybe I should just shut up. What am I talking about I DONNO JUST 4/5!@#@!$%

Don't expect great architecture or smart puzzles, but gameplay like a slaughterfest. From that POV this is a simple but interesting map. Not easy but can be done @ UV. As this is a promising first attempt: an encouraging 4/5.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
