About This File

A small, compact, and (hopefully) fun level for Doom 2. The level is not actually in black and white or anything, despite its name.

For a first map this is awesome, 5/5. Please keep making maps, because I can see you have a lot of potential.

Nothing really wrong with it. Maybe just a bit too simple. 3/5

A little tight and clusterfuck-y, but a decent beginning at mapmaking. The keys and enemies feel haphazardly placed, and it could use a little more detail. Keep making maps.

3/5. Not so good. Really? Yep. Too many weapons, and not enough space to use em.

Yeah, too cramped. Could use a few more gameplay elements (traps, battles, power-ups where appropriate, etc). The Quake 2 sound effects were a nice touch, and I liked the consistent theme. 3/5

Hey, nice first map, and I thought the compact space made it more intense. I thought the plasma was totally unnecessary (well, I had like no enemies to kill with it :P). Maybe the traps could be a little more deadly next time. Cheers.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.
