About This File

Pretty large map. Used many different styles of design, start out from cities, towns and ending with standart doom-base style, caves, metal hallways etc. Enjoy!(press f1 for help) This map created by Freedoom Comunity. http://freed00m.forum24.ru/

If you want to use Prboom to play, use the sh_pb.bat to start game(You should extract *.wad file and *.bat files into your Prboom base category).

Huge, but weak : the gameplay is almost non-existant, just run, push the button, kill, run through the corridor, push the button, kill the monsters, run... Detailing is really weird in this map : it just doesn't make it looks better than in Doom 2. Seems that the author doesn't know WHAT he should detail, as most of the work goes into nothing useful, as architecture, for example ! 2/5, just cause it's sure that someone spent a lot of time. But the result isn't good.

Start looked terribly average and didn't inspire me to go further. 3/5

I liked it. Dont forget there is a game-stopping bug trapping player with lift by spidermaster in tiny room.

It's Playable actually , but really Hard , I completed it in 1 hour etc. Some of locations are really vomit ( Jython's cave , Marat's place) The two last locations looks like the abadoned base with center of hell . Besides all : every map(location) must be completed from start .

This is a mixed bag. Some parts are okay, some are downright terrible. I quit playing about third of the way through. I just didn't have the stamina for this mess.

This map isn't quite as bad as helcv.wad, but fundamentally otherwise it's like the multi-author version of that wad. If you want a chance at some fun in a huge map, try Jade Earth instead. That's a huge map that actually IS worth playing.

Oh, sure, it looks good. Unfortunately, it's an unplayable nonlinear mass (and mess) of switches, doors and twisty little passages, all alike. There's no flow to it at all; gameplay is not just lacking, it's outright nonexistent. A pity, really, since the authors clearly have a lot of skill.

Yes, It is unplayable, or rather uncompletable. Linedef 23223 is a switch which is supposed to open door sector 4329 for the player to teleport at linedef 23235. The problem is that the player cannot reach the switch because linedef 22701 is flagged impassible. If the linedef in question was a gun/impact switch, the whole level is completeable ..... unless I'm missing something.

Horrible, unplayable pos. The beginning area is mediocre, but it quickly goes downhill.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
