I love the blue tint! The graphics are amazing, as the level looks like some sort of creepy abandoned temple. Then it joins with some tech laboratory, and that just makes you wonder what kind of place this is/was. The music was subtle, eerie, but beautiful, and the battles were tough at times. I really liked how the map was kind of dark and spooky--very nice! The only thing I didn't like was the ending, which felt too abrupt. I was hoping for a boss or something. Still, this is a great map. 4/5

Frighteningly accurate to the original maps, right down to the monster and item placement! I think this deserves a 5/5 in light of who made it.

Yeah, this was one of my favorite maps of 2010 when it was released way back in spring and it still is. The atmosphere is fantastic, the layout really-well executed, the tweaked palette is just plain pretty... Once again, I missed a vote in the archive, and having played this a second time, it was just as awesome. 5/5 -Snakes

I can't help looking at certain areas over and over, they are so beautifully constructed. Wish some bugs were fixed and monster density was higher, but the map is definitely playable. 5/5 for the aesthetics alone, vdgg

Nice map. I heard a cyberdemon but never got to fight it. A bit dark in places and some of the secrets were a bit weird. Anyway great job 5/5 dwrTag

I thought it was pretty good, this coming from someone who's never played the level this wad is based on. A bit confusing to navigate at times, though. It's not really that challenging on UV until the last part (after the blue key and opening up the final area) where it gets a bit hectic.... but nothing a seasoned Doom veteran can't handle. Overall, four stars; I hope the author comes back to make another map, I like the concept of it.

The design and atmosphere was absolutely bang on. I also liked the palette shift, and the intentionally sparse fighting was great. Check it out. -TRRobin.

Standout atmosphere. I didn't understand the ending: the blue door shuts on me and I find six pointless teleporters... that part was fun.

Impressive but confusing at moments, requires too much backtracing and could use a few more monsters considering its size. 4/5 -Zalewa

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
