This is the biggest and longest map I've ever played. A few cheap spots with the Viles hurts the score a little. But by no means a bad map at all, you'd swear you played an entire game after you complete it. 4/5

32,565 linedefs, 50,468 sidedefs, 5,392 sectors, 2,505 things, 56 Cacodemons but no Lost Souls and PE's, 31 Arch Viles, but only 2 Cyberdemons, 1 spider mastermind. An excellent looking green map, big, dark, atmospheric. This may be the largest map ever made.

Good freeform architechture, good item/ammo balancing and the kind of monster placement that compelled me to stop playing Doom a few years back. Seriously, mate - there are other ways of making a map challenging than spamming it with near endless Revenants and Archviles. In a map this large, there are only so many times you can get away with that before it becomes predictable. A potentially excellent map inexorably marred by seemingly taking the easy way out for difficulty's sake. 3/5

epic map proportions, well designed battles, great weapon/monster progression. the visual theme is specific but clean and consistent, deal with it. approaching the empty arenas worked on me, it felt fair to study their layout before hordes ported in. even ambushes aren't too cruel, so dying is always at least partially your fault (HA-HA at the fda guy). linearity makes it a one time adventure, but jodwin created his personal vrack in this. 4/5 - dew

I excepted my urge to continue on to die out. I expected cheap traps. I expected nothing to surprise me with stock effects. I expected little to no theme. I expected me not to get pulled into it. I was so, so very wrong. I almost shed a tear when I saw the sky. Beyond amazing stuff. 5/5.

I liked it. You can't have too much of a good thing. Check out my UV SPEED demo of it in 9:33. http://www.doomworld .com/vb/post/927888 -Creaphis

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.

A basic and nice looking showroom type of map where monsters are trapped inside glass prisons, no exit and no way to play this with any modern source Port like DSDA-Doom and GZDoom, but works really well in Crispy Doom. It was a pleasant experience.

Conceptually not bad, it's a pretty imposing tower with some decent lighting, but no ammo at all despite having the guns and a VERY obscure way to rise up the floor in the lava pit? That's a big downer. But overall, it's ok.

Well, the map is pretty basic. The map is quite challenging, with there being 0 ammo pickups (excluding the backpack) outside of the starting room. There are also nazis for some reason. I will give it 2 stars only because this really wasn't meant to be played to be enjoyed, but rather just a example of how to build a map in DEU.
