You are playing for spirit of Doom guy. You can float. You have five different attacks.
And you can upgrade some characteristics.
There are stronger monsters, than normal.
You should kill 5/6 of all monsters, and find all keys on level.
There are no stimpacs/medikits/etc. But you heals by killing monsters.
Detailed description :
This mod tells story of Doom guy, who was killed in his next mission. But his spirit returned to revenge the monsters, killed him!
To exit level you should kill 5/6 of all monsters, and find all keys on level. On last level you should survive under pressure of terrible boss.
There are no any stimpack, medikit etc. You heals by killing monsters. You have 300 hp. maximum, and 200 hp. at the start.
There are five different attacks, by all it use zoom as alternative attack:
1. Near attack
Don't uses mana. Strength of attack depends on "damage" characteristic.
2. Mind attack
Instantly damages target at all distantions. Depends on "damage" too. Uses from 40 to 15 mana.
3. Soul staff
Fires three souls, trying to damage enemies. Uses from 150 to 100 mana.
4. Ray bringer
Makes wall of five rays, who damages enemies. Lives ~20 secs. Uses from 400 to 300 mana.
5. Rage of Spirits
Kills monsters on some distance. You can use this attack only one time at minute. Uses from 1200 to 1000 mana.
Player gives expirence by killing monsters. If you collect remaining expirence, you got next upgrade level, 50 hp, and you can to upgrade you characteristics. There are 100 upgrade levels of player, and 25 levels of any characteristic.
-Damage (damage of near and mind attack)
There are some colored monsters, who harder that normal:
White (light gray) - have a lot of hp
Blue - faster that normal
Red - stronger
Invisible - you can see it hardly
Dark (mini-bosses) - Have a lot of hp, faster, stronger.
If you kill all monsters at level, you got bonus expirence - from 200 to 1200.
Also you can use auto-update.
There are two power-ups, which pickup to inventory. You can pickup 10 power-ups of each type. On last level they replaces to it's weak copies.
White ball is invulnerable. Also it replaces megasphere.
Invisibility ball now makes player fully invisible.
There are some labels on hud:
Rage countdown - you should wait this time to use Rage of Spirits again. If there are no time, you can use this attack.
Label on bottom center of the screen - name of current weapon.
1. Options -> Display -> Alternative hud = on
2. Options -> Set video mode -> Force aspect ratio = 4:3
You can find controls in "Spirit keys" section.
"Update damage/vitality/mana economy" - update current characteristics
"Cancel update " - cancel last update
"Switch autoupdate" - enable/disable autoupdate
"Use invulnerable/invisibility" - use current power-up.
