Fun and challenging E2 replacement. Good gameplay that get's better with each level. Sure it's nothing new, but who cares if the record's not broke...

E2 clone #1234567. As such, copying the architectural style as well as the gameplay was done well. But does it have additional value? IMHO: about near zero. No new architecture, decoration, traps, or even better adventure feeling / gameplay. So overall, considered as a playable mapset, this is (again imho) completely overhyped, and 5* legendary is ridiculous, compared with other maps. 3* mostly because of the effort of a mapset not worth a replay.

I'm not sure what the hype is all about. This felt almost like speed-mapping to me. The visuals are subordinate to Ultimate Doom, the layouts are boring, the game play is repetitive, and there is far too much ammo. My biggest complaint is the Z-axis being almost non-existent (everything is on a flat-plane), and there are barely any exteriors or large open areas. It almost feels like randomly generated rooms with monsters and dull traps added. Nothing like UD at all.

Very good E2 style with only a limited amount of true homages. Definitely less than Deja Vu or Slight Return. Almost seems like a rough copy of some maps that could have been in DTWID, though they are probably just short of being *that* authentic in style. But it's on par with stuff like NMD Episode 2, etc. With that said I easily recommend it.

Very nice E1/E2-style episode. Has at least two points where you can get stuck without jumping (invisibility secret in E2M2 and caco trap in the sludge area in E2M5). E2M8 is underwhelming, but the rest of this won't disappoint. 4/5

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?
