About This File

You have just been dropped smack in the middle of the Demon's lair. If you can fight your way out of this level, you can try my next level (It'll be awsome!!) Hint: Don't fall off the window side of the bridge, there is no way up.

I'm not sure what year this is from (the text file doesn't specify), but it's just a crappy wad that's probably from the mid-90's. Nothing interesting to see here, but it's not downright unplayable. 1/5

Pretty good '94 map. Only a few minor technical flaws. Not a masterpiece, but worth playing.

For something made using a lot of smokes, this isn't too bad. It's a typical 1994 castle/stronghold level with a few interesting twists, and that abstract-without-bei ng-a-jokewad style and atmosphere you can only find in maps of that era. Not a masterpiece, but satisfactory to play through. 3/5 -Maes

Never mind that dumbass Maes, he likes the gamarra wads. This wad sucks.

Not too bad. Some good ideas for it's time. A few little surprises, but nothing ground-breaking. Definately playable.

^ Never mind the ad hominems. Play this for yourself and make your own decisions.

Yes, try it. Gameplay is good here. It's weird, but some guys seem to get a perverted gratification from trashing wads simply because they are old.

A good 1994 map, have fun if you like 1994 maps. But still, it's may get boring due to switch hunting, hmm...... BTW, it has a problem can let player skipped the part to get blue key(or maybe it's intentionally by author) by go to a teleport. 3/5 -playerlin

Yeah no idea why this is getting poor reviews just played it now and it is good, for 1994 the mapping is not too bad at all and looks similar in some places to id's own maps. monsters and ammo are balanced and the map has a cool atmosphere about it. Glad this one has been re-upped as would have probably never played it otherwise and I am glad I did 3/5

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
