About This File

*IT'S NOT A DEMO, IT'S A (HALF-)OFFICIAL RELASE!*

Another 1024-style WAD. After Congestion 1024 and both Claustrophobia 1024, I had so many ideas, and I thought, I start to make a new 1024 megaWAD. Now I finished episode 1, and I'm so happy, because it's my first finished work! I'll continue mapping, but you can try the parts, which I've finished. I hope you'll like it!

Not the best 1024 mapset out there by any means, but it sure beats other recent big stuff like Mobius, Tarakinnik 2, or Zero Day. 3(.25)/5

Brilliant all 11 maps seamlessly merge together to create a real feeling of progression. And the level of gameplay and detail acheived in such small and cramped areas is amazing. A must play, looking forward to Episode 2 :) 4/5

The txt doesn't make it clear, but some Boom features are used in at least some maps.

There are plenty of other superior 1024 wads out there. It plays decently, but the visuals are pretty shaky, and most of the 11 maps are waaaay to congested to be enjoyable. Meh.

As far as the over-stretched 1024 gimmick lends itself to shitty maps, these aren't shitty maps. They're not really that great, either, but at least they're not shit. 3/5 for them not being shit. 2/5 for them looking like shit.

Decent set of 1024-style maps. Not as good as Congestion/Claustrop hobia 1024, but still quite playable. Often feels more cramped and claustrophobic than Congestion 1024. 4/5 - ZZ

All maps plays fun and looking good, except Map10 and Map11, Map10 is just killing shitload of monsters with shitload of ammo(pistol start would be fine but I don't think it's good reason), I like the music from ROTT but it doesn't help too much. Map11...the only one and biggest problem is...too cramped ways to fight powerful monsters. Like try fighting a Hell knights in a 64x64x96 room! What a pain on my ass... 3.5/5 -playerlin

EXTREMLY cramped maps. I stopped playing this wad at the third map so I'll give this a 2/5 assuming that the later maps have some quality, seeing that people gave this wad passable ratings.

Very cramped maps, mostly of barely fitting maze hallways and corridors. Over usage of doors also leads to frustration as they all open and close on you. Detailing's minimal for a 1024 wads, but no biggie. 3/5

One of the classic megawads, and the successor to TNT Evilution. I've played this several times over the years, and its grown on me more with each play as my tastes mature.   Still has a bunch of maps that got me killed in 2024, after ive finished stuff like HR and AV, and plenty of maps are memorable. Only real downsides is some of the levels have little content, showing its age.

One of the earliest Doom user maps and It shows. Despite the raw and empty design, the author take a good use of 3D space creating a small fortress surrounded by mountains, the level Is fun to play and not hard. A fancy escapade and a piece of modding history.

Third and final released map of a WIP episode by David Rager, it's more long, complex and hard than the previous entries in the series. A well made map with pretty challenging parts with a mix of monster usage, envoirnmental hazards and some puzzle gameplay. Fun but pretty harsh.

Two more misplaced DM maps without a exit like QUDOOM (that at least had a exit room, while not functional) that caught me by their file name and leave me for the bad experience in SP. Chicken is just a long bridge between a thundering abyss where cyberdemons wants to destroy you, meh. Gangstar is a more fun map sets in a big, abstract warehouse where a cyberdemon roam free trying to kill you, shotgunners and lost souls are here in this Hell corner adding more pain to the thing, enforced by semi-hidden mazes, my favorite.

This is like the physical version of the "we have X at home" meme in DM map format for Quake E1M1. Very poorly made, broken exit and missing textures here and there but at least the level KINDA resembles the original source somehow.
