Would not play with PRBoom, with errors about missing files : FluidR3_GM.sf2 and STARTAN2.  These were not provided in the zip file.

Terry, I hereby mail you your whole level back so that you can work on the errors. Sincerely, Bert Glanstron.

It seems as if the author was experimenting with various level features such as building stairs, using switches, revealing traps etc. and as such it's a deceivingly intricate level, with good use of height differences and traps, which show good mapping potential and perhaps even talent. However, this particular level lacks challenge and polish, and is a mere mapmaking exercise. I'd rate this higher, but I'll await the author's first complete level. 2/5 -Maes

Tried to run with chocdoom and I get a STARTAN2 not found error, works fine in ZDoom. Looks basic, plays basic feels like something you would play in the 90's rather than the 21st century. Using only one texture does not help either, considering this is your first I will give you leeway, but try and use more textures and make the map longer or people will just relegate this to the confines of history. As it is right now I can only give 1/5, but if you fix the bugs and improve on it you could make it good.

You should learn to make decent levels before you start uploading.

It's not bad, but easy and looks bland. The map has some good points like traps and layout, but textures use and monsters/ammo placement make this wad feels boring and plays way too easy. Try hard to make a full completed map, you have potency to do a great map. :D 2/5 -playerlin

This is a typical first map. There's nothing majorly bad about it, and it does have a couple of interesting twists and turns, but at the same time, it's not a compelling level yet. On the other hand, the author clearly has potential, so I'll say "it's a good start". 2/5 for the map itself. - ZZ

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
