Faithful stylistically and game play wise to the source material. Solid all around, but way to short.

Quite short indeed (a bit more than 2:30 minutes), but nevertheless, a solid Plutonia map. 3/5 - ZZ

Just as the /newstuff review said...a fun, bite sized level. Could easily just take the place of the actual Plutonia Map01, and feel perfectly fine.

This was short, but offers some delicious gameplay as well as nice level design.

It's small and quickly done, but it's fun so it's all good. Would do well for speed runs. 4/5. -TRRobin.

Nice map. Not sure if the above comment is meant to be criticism, but 3 minutes of good gameplay (esp. with good replayability) is better than an hour of tediously going through the motions.

Blink and you'll miss it. Not bad, but linear and rather easy. Also, a baron doesn't rise up quick enough so I got death from below'd

I played once and it took me like 5 minutes, actually, mainly because I got hurt badly near the start and had to advance carefully. That made it rather tense, so I enjoyed it, even if it seemed a bit too linear in retrospect. [3/5] ~Chain Mail (03/2011)

Nice map for Map01, nice traps but not all of them are nice. :p Yeah, due it Plutonia map so I guess it's normally, and it plays good, REALLY. :) 3.5/5 -playerlin

Nice little map with a bit more sting than you'd expect given the initial monster count of 34 on UV. The Baron of Hell definitely rose too slow and is much more lethal than you'd expect as a result, which is a detractor as is the very obvious linearity. 3* -Phobus

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
