This map is beautifully done--excellent architecture and great use of classic textures. You manage to use a lot of red without it being annoying. The game play is quite rough on UV, which is kind of fun but I do think it starts out too rough. I was out of ammo quickly in the beginning, and it seemed like the plasma rifle was more of a necessary item than a secret. Other than that, this was very interesting and has potential.

Very, very, very good!!!! The design could be cleaner and more systematic. The monster placement was fun and strategic, and the new monsters were fun, but it could be much better still to be optimal. Could use several improvements but still a terrific map!!!

Nice architecture, poor gameplay, unfortunately. New monsters are just... bleh !

An impressive first attempt. But the lack of ammo, poor monster placement and the annoying custom monsters ruin it. 2/5 stars.

Would have given 5 stars, but reduced to 4 because it's one of those wads where secrets are necessary just to live due to ridiculous ammo constraints.

This is a nice map, even more impressive considering it is the author's first. Great layout, visuals, and architecture. The one major fault, as others mentioned, is that there simply isn't enough ammo. Even with manufacturing plenty of monster infighting, I still didn't have enough ammo unless I found the secrets. Secrets should never be necessary. This is a real shame because it would have been so easy to fix, yet really puts a damper on an otherwise great map.

Simon Dupuis' mapping stlye is to make awesome-looking detailed maps with colored lighting LITERALLY EVERYWHERE. The gameplay may be seen as tough but not at all a problem for someone with pistol-starting experience. Actually the gameplay is really better than BttF.wad. The plasmagun secret is not necessary but is overpowered given ~500 non-secret cells. It is very strange that the author maps so well yet can't properly make secrets. 4 for gameplay, 4 for looks, overall 4/5. WANT MORE YOUR MAPS! -Korshun

Very good inferno map. Start is very hard due to the lack of ammo. Secrets are almost necessary. Ending could have been better. 4.5/5

One of the classic megawads, and the successor to TNT Evilution. I've played this several times over the years, and its grown on me more with each play as my tastes mature.   Still has a bunch of maps that got me killed in 2024, after ive finished stuff like HR and AV, and plenty of maps are memorable. Only real downsides is some of the levels have little content, showing its age.

One of the earliest Doom user maps and It shows. Despite the raw and empty design, the author take a good use of 3D space creating a small fortress surrounded by mountains, the level Is fun to play and not hard. A fancy escapade and a piece of modding history.

Third and final released map of a WIP episode by David Rager, it's more long, complex and hard than the previous entries in the series. A well made map with pretty challenging parts with a mix of monster usage, envoirnmental hazards and some puzzle gameplay. Fun but pretty harsh.

Two more misplaced DM maps without a exit like QUDOOM (that at least had a exit room, while not functional) that caught me by their file name and leave me for the bad experience in SP. Chicken is just a long bridge between a thundering abyss where cyberdemons wants to destroy you, meh. Gangstar is a more fun map sets in a big, abstract warehouse where a cyberdemon roam free trying to kill you, shotgunners and lost souls are here in this Hell corner adding more pain to the thing, enforced by semi-hidden mazes, my favorite.

This is like the physical version of the "we have X at home" meme in DM map format for Quake E1M1. Very poorly made, broken exit and missing textures here and there but at least the level KINDA resembles the original source somehow.
