About This File

when renowned mercenary Salvatore "Salvo" Jettison accepted a new job from a mysterious organization called UAC, it all seemed like a great bargain - they would supply everything, from brand new weapons and ammunition, to a plethora of minor benefits. What they didn't tell him until too late: first, he was going to fight against the netherworld, and second, they wouldn't have supplied him with the legendary everything-carrying space suit all marines had had so far...

I guess rsl is the Snapesnogger of the doom world? Anyway, it's an average quality wad, it's not bad but it could use improvement. I do however like the ideas that the author keeps presenting, he just doesn't execute them perfectly.

Just had a run on a few levels of Plutonia, and I must say this does quite revolutionize a number of gameplay portions - to me, mostly for good. Would have made the weapon spawns a bit more abundant to ease the dropoff/pickup, but either way it's simply quite awesome. 4/5

I briefly tried this in DOOM2, and it's fun at first, but there are some issues. Weapons that cause you to look up or down are distracting when you're a keyboarder, and it also seemed that none of the ammo I collected was actually good for any of the weapons I got, so I ran out of everything around the red key in MAP02 already. It's got promise, but it needs work. 2/5 - ZZ

Nice mod. But why are some enemies (zombieman, shotgunner, etc.) so fast? How can i change it back to normal speed?

The character's chasecam animation is half-rate, since it's always moving. Shooting the collider into a crowd is sure to cause incredible lag. This wad somehow makes sectors darker, not sure why, however. There is no animation for the detonation of tubular bombs, and it would have helped if the game would actually show that you have a bomb in place, as you might forget you have one. Overall, it was no fun to use at all.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
