About This File

You wake up in a small room with no recollection of how you got there. You see a dead demon on the floor and notice that your knuckles are bloody. Figuring you must have fought the demon and then collapsed from exhaustion, you take stock of your surroundings, but there isn't much to see. Wondering where you are you unholster your pistrol and start to search for clues. There must be some way out of this hell hole....

Concept map with gameplay based on endlessly walking through a few empty narrow tunnels hearing doors opening. Which can be nice when used carefully, but on this scale it's boring. Then, still having the pistol as only weapon, you'll be confronted with a Baron... To keep it short: gameplay sucks. And the lack of architecture & ambiance does not make it better. Very small 2* because of the effort.

The map gave me a bit of a headache just because of the running back and forth. I've played far worse though, if you're into really old style puzzle maps this is prbably for you.

I liked what I played but when I died to a (marked but inescapable) poison pit after having survived a bunch of hairy situations miraculously, I quit.

Concept is great but this map fucked the concept up and become to a boring shit. Autosaving and manual saving a lot are not helps...fighting cyberdemon in a small maze ways just too stupid...archvile fights are not stupid as cyberdemon one but still annoying... Uh, with concept and author did worked so hard and completed this wad, I would give it a 5 but...for actual gameplay and layout, it's not match the standard of 5 stars so sorry, it just a meh shit. 2.5/5 -playerlin

Glad the correct file was finally uploaded. To the average observer, the wad may seem mediocre, dull, and repetitive, but most of the action doesn't kick until until after you have made some progress. It's both extremely challenging and full of unanticipated, suspenseful moments that seem to change with every play-through. It is a bit claustrophobic, visually unimpressive, and has a confusing layout, but if you manage to get past all that, it's a very unique and fulfilling experience. ***** -EarthQuake

This is one of those puzzle WADs (you know, THOSE puzzle WADs). If that's your thing, check it out, I'm sure you'll love it; but if you're like me and thought the end of Tenements in DOOM 2 was stupid, don't bother. It doesn't even look good, either, so 1/5 for the effort. Sorry. - ZZ

This starts off slow, and ends up being a cramped mess... I beat it on UV... but it's still a cramped mess... challenging fights? perhaps... the layout is a disaster. 2/5

Absolutely dreadful. The only way to salvage anything from this is to delete the map and start again from scratch, and make something totally different. The name is quite good.

      It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

      What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

      A basic and nice looking showroom type of map where monsters are trapped inside glass prisons, no exit and no way to play this with any modern source Port like DSDA-Doom and GZDoom, but works really well in Crispy Doom. It was a pleasant experience.
