Not a bad map, but the custom monsters lead to unbalanced and uneven gameplay - a slap in the face from an immersion viewpoint. The off-centre new weapon is annoying. Doom has autoaim and has no crosshair, so an off-centre weapon, pointing at the centre of the screen, is not aligned with the objects it can hit. I found myself deliberately trying to ignore the weapon sprite, and visualizing the centre-line of the screen instead. This also stripped away a level of immersion. Nevertheless, worth playing.

The new imps and super FoR UZI are OK, but the UZI-commandos just sucks(even it's fair), level design just OK and a little confusing, after that, just OK on whole wad... 3/5 -playerlin

Looks quite a bit like Heretic and has a fairly non-linear progression. The imps having 100 health and the chaingun/uzi chewing through ammo that quickly makes the balance seem a bit off... more so with the low-health chaingunners all having uzis too. Map plays alright though. Imperfect, but fun. 4* -Phobus

It had its moments. I'm always a fan of desert-type maps with bright sunlight and sandy, stony textures that really make you feel the hot breeze in your face, but this one, although decent, never QUITE captivated me. It was solid throughout, but the certain je ne sais quoi was missing. Random nitpick: exit wasn't marked and took me by surprise (no chance to look for secrets). 3/5 - ZZ

It won't blow your socks off but it's got some nice effort and thoughts put into the level, and hopefully the designer will grow from here and keep making levels. The weapons seem to outmatch the enemies, and there was more thought put into the beginning of the level as compared to the end.

      Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

      It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

      What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

      thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

      Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.
