One of the best slaughter maps I played. Uh.. Too high on acid to say anything else.

Good wad indeed - but on its thread it said it was meant to be one level but got too large - and yet it's only one level. Doesn't make any sense to me.

This was rather annoying experience if to be honest. Good architecture and music selection, but all that blinkings and crawling in darkness almost made me sick towards the end. An example of ideas being too overused to artificially increase time required to beat the map. And I've got to say that I enjoyed the prequel a lot. 3/5 - Demonologist

You don't see many 5-star wads on Doomworld. This is a wad no one should miss. 5/5

Looks good, but isn't that much fun to play - basically just a bunch of scripted battles in a big room (with a few small side areas). 2.5/5 - ZZ

It's pretty good, but not quite what I expected when I read "slaughter map" in the first review. Quite atmospheric and featuring good architecture and good fights, though. 4/5 - ZZ

A chilling atmosphere, the haunting cinematic inspired score, and the thrilling scripted events make this a wad to good to pass up. I recommend everyone should play Church now! Good job Arch. My only complaints are the slow moving elevators. Also, it may have been more appropriate to have the gargoyle as the final boss. 4/5 -FoH

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
