About This File

Inspired by zodiac's Imperfect Hatred thread on Doomworld, this is an E4-style map created from scratch in six hours. For added difficulty and to keep the project authentic, I didn't use Doom Builder's 3D editing mode.

Pretty cool speedmap. Secrets are a bit on the easy side and some areas seem recycled from the original id work, but it's understandable, and the gameplay is quite fun.

trying to create an episode 4 map in 6 hours, you think you're romero ? e4m2 was done with old building level software but is atmospheric and creepy level. your map was done with nowaday tool and have no atmosphere, no personality. you were presumptuous in creating this level. you will never equal romero.0/5

^ I think you are just so stupid for writing that nonsense. You throw a 0 at him because of jealousy and frustration. You obviously don't like Doom so get a life and play Daikatana. And btw this is an excellent old-school style level a ... highly recommended. Old school is better than the modern stuff with ROTT music and ultra detail. 4.5/5 Stars!

Very nice. I enjoyed it. Wish the author made a whole episode, tho. After finishing the level I was wanting to play more in the series, specially since I had found a plasma rifle at the very end.

A decent-sized map. Fun to play. Evokes classic Doom feel and appearance. Could have been slightly longer, but it was good quality all the way.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
