About This File

This is a set of pretty difficult DOOM II wads BUT!, they are all possible, even starting with just a pistol and a few shells. The few bits of secret are there just to help, they're not essential. The main key to finishing these wads is discretion! Don't go running around like a headless Imp, and don't try killing the Cyber Demons or the Spider Demons. Every level contains all the weapons EXCEPT THE BFG - this is for big puffs! Take 'em on with a shot gun!!

MAP02 is unplayable. MAP01 is bland and boring. MAP03 is somewhat interesting. The rest? Meh. 2/5

These are pretty good maps. Contrary to some comments you might have read, gameplay was obviously tested rather carefully, as intelligent play will result in interesting battles. Anyone who miscomprehends them as "random newbie maps" is in fact betraying himself as a random newbie. As usual, "Uploaded by RL" is a guarantee of good quality.

Given that map02 is fully playable, you can safely ignore the previous reviewer's comments. The wad is very good. 5/5 Also: if Zdoom has problems with a map that works with vanilla, then that is a Zdoom bug.

      A basic and nice looking showroom type of map where monsters are trapped inside glass prisons, no exit and no way to play this with any modern source Port like DSDA-Doom and GZDoom, but works really well in Crispy Doom. It was a pleasant experience.

      Conceptually not bad, it's a pretty imposing tower with some decent lighting, but no ammo at all despite having the guns and a VERY obscure way to rise up the floor in the lava pit? That's a big downer. But overall, it's ok.

      Well, the map is pretty basic. The map is quite challenging, with there being 0 ammo pickups (excluding the backpack) outside of the starting room. There are also nazis for some reason. I will give it 2 stars only because this really wasn't meant to be played to be enjoyed, but rather just a example of how to build a map in DEU.
