About This File

Looking at my huge Doom folder i found lots of incomplete maps which never see the light of day, so i decide to keep up some of them and rearrange with a more "modern doom" look. These levels are the first four of them, and they are the bigger too. All maps can be finished starting with pistol only. Maps are hard, but difficult levels are implemented. Also, there are no continuity between maps, maybe except map 01 and map 02. First two maps are techbases, map 3 is city-based and map 4 is marble-metal based. Also i include a alternate PLAYPAL lump, the cool palette you sure already see on maps like simplicity and lots of Zdoom wads. Sorry i don't know the name of the creator to credit him...

The large scaling of rooms and maps in combination with a non-linearity layout plus repeatable switches where you don't know what they are doing are a problem here. You can get a key without knowing were the door is. I felt lost constantly. Those 4 maps should have been reworked and devided into 8 shorter maps. rather 3*

I realy liked this one, nice detail, alot of action UV recommended if you like a good challenge, only downfall for me was a few small tutti frutti effects in some textures (Playing in Skulltag) But no big deal, download and play 5/5 -Archy-

A great gift for those of you who love long trek tight-balanced maps with a trial-and-error style of gameplay. I don't like some bits (walls' detail not being marked as impassible, slow caco / pain teleport at M04 and more and most of m01), but its still well worth the time Ive spend on it. 4*

^Agreed! Four fairly large maps with plenty of baddies to kill (1174, 912, 863 & 998 respectively). Lots of in-fighting action, if that's your bag - I love it on UV -fast. Plenty of ammo, but not too much and a fair amount of health. Been playing this now for a few days and enjoying every minute of it - apart from some horrible deaths... - try again. 4.5/5

Great job, however not limit removing. You need at least a Boom compatible port for the dehacked file and an MBF compatible port for the maps with the modified cacodemon to work properly. prboom-plus records complevel 9 demos incorrectly with this wad. dwrTag

Superb firework display of thousands of fireballs seeming in slow motion because of the vastness - mostly avoidable as they land where you were ages ago; but worth playing just to see it. A HUGE square surrounded by tiers with hundreds of imps and a few others, plus a blockhouse you can enter first to collect ammo.  Fighting through the hundreds of monsters when you get onto the tiers is another matter, overwhelming at UV. I cheated to finish so at least I could review.  Some HOM bugs.

Laggy hell with 32k monsters and too much invulnerability spheres. Just... total vomit.

Insanity, with voodoo dolls (see second screenshot).  I get the idea of a shooting gallery if that rocks your boat, but 6000 monsters behind railings- as far as the eye can see, FFS! My PC crawled when I looked towards the invuln spheres (someone said 32 k of them and you can't avoid picking up thousands at a time). In the end I cheated with god mode and no-clipping, and waded in among the chaingunners until I got bored.

Simple, clearly a first wad.  All on the flat with big, brightly lit, and architecturally implausible rooms. The first map has two rooms, the second map one, and the third map one plus a kind of exit lobby. You can do one of two things - just run past the monsters and finish (I did it in 35 seconds), or have a bit of fun killing the monsters first. No noticable bugs. I hope the author will go on (or went on) to greater things.
