About This File

Earth lost contact with the scientists on Titan, one of the moons of Saturn (not Mars). You've been sent to check it out. Titan 1024 is a reimagining of Titan from 2004, with each level's playable area being no larger than 1024 by 1024 units.

Pretty darn fun. The only levels I didn't enjoy were the second and the last - the second lasted too long with most of it consisting of boring pistol / shotgun play against tough enemies. The last level was a bit one-dimensional. Other than that - great job.

Within it's 1024 limits, very well done. Solid 4/5.

Novice my arse - Titan 1 and 2 were masterpieces and this doesn't disappoint. I'm not normally a fan of 1024 levels, but a sign of a good one is when it feels bigger than it actually is. Not the author's best, but definitely worth the hour or so it takes to beat.

I'm not a fan of 1024 levels. Their tiny size gives me cramps and levels with space are always better than claustrophobic ones.

4 out of five. Lots of detail, but easy to lose ammo and get lost. I got 100% kills and secrets on each level except a really unfair one with a bunch of shit piled onto a cyberdemon.

This is a very beautiful wad and if you are looking for some small levels I recommend it, screw the four reviewers at the top (or one I must say) 4 out of 5 stars

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?
