About This File

Warning: If you have a history of seizures or can easily get them, then avoid this wad, otherwise have fun looking at the very fast randomness of the default textures.

Comes with 2 different versions for Doom and Doom2. Seizure1 for Doom and Seizure2 for Doom 2.

Pretty cool experiment, I wonder how it would run with other mods.

Just Doom 2 with a deliberate texture bug added. Don't bother; it's been done before by MUCH better mappers.

I thought that people who have epilepsy should consult their doctors before playing video games in general, so this is unecessary. Anybody who has epileptic seizures from playing games would get them without this.

To think you could have coded something with themes to dynamically retexture doom wads into different styles but no, that would require actual thought. enjoy these 5 white stars.

How fitting. How would you like to play a shitty wad and get a seizure at the same time? Doomguy sure knows how to twist the knife on us Doomers.

This is actually quite impressive. The changing textures give an impression of movement while all (inner) things remain still. You can even consider this an allusion to the theory of relativity. Standing still in the eye of the storm. Also, Zen philosophy comes to my mind. Perhaps even better, if you had made alle monsters dormant. Yeah, I like it a lot. (However, it seems to be over most of the commentators' heads.)

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
