Mod with stunning look-and-feel and ambiance, fans of post-apocalyptic city ambiance presumably would love this. Gameplay is of explorer type, so it might take some time to find what you need. Thankfully author did not overpopulate the open areas @ UV,so it's not a slaughtermap. Overall: solid 4/5. BTW @ ^^: latest version of GZDoom works excellent.

This is glorious. Do you plan on remaking additional levels, eg "Inmost Dens" and "Factory"?

Flat and slow-paced and crashes GZdoom when trying to load in this map. At least it looks good and the fights were interesting.

Wowa, this is not only a great city level, but actually a modern remake of Downtown. I so much loved this one! 5/5 - Optimus

Indeed, Sergeant_Mark's maps are way better than his (in)famous gameplay modification.

Great stage design and texturing, but it could really use new monsters. The old DOOM roster seems out of place and cheesy with this theme.

Really nice map. There's an absurd attention to detail that doesn't detract from the gameplay and it has a great atmosphere. Really feels like you're trying to survive armageddon. Other random things I liked were the 3D platforms, and the fact it's a remake of Downtown. Only thing I disliked were the teleporters in the warehouse. You need to use them to beat the level and yet one of them throws you into an inescapable death trap. If there's anything Doom doesn't need, it's trial and error. 5/5.

A stunning ambiance. A great environment with good detail. A good challenge. A feeling of sadness when I finished this map. Frankly, my only quibble would be that a little more detail would have made it perfect for me, particularly with regards to the layout of the UAC's building. 4/5 (almost 5/5) because this wad helped raise my expectations.

Awesome map. Really atmospheric. The big battle in the plaza is one of the most awesome parts of the map.

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.

A basic and nice looking showroom type of map where monsters are trapped inside glass prisons, no exit and no way to play this with any modern source Port like DSDA-Doom and GZDoom, but works really well in Crispy Doom. It was a pleasant experience.

Conceptually not bad, it's a pretty imposing tower with some decent lighting, but no ammo at all despite having the guns and a VERY obscure way to rise up the floor in the lava pit? That's a big downer. But overall, it's ok.

Well, the map is pretty basic. The map is quite challenging, with there being 0 ammo pickups (excluding the backpack) outside of the starting room. There are also nazis for some reason. I will give it 2 stars only because this really wasn't meant to be played to be enjoyed, but rather just a example of how to build a map in DEU.
