Brilliant visuals and massive, non-linear layout. Gameplay is well-paced with enough challenge to make you feel like a big man without killing you repeatedly. Expect major lag in the main area even in GLBoom+ due to all the midtextures and detailing. Still 5/5 though.

Speechless, just awesome. Found all secrets but not all enemies killed(missed about 100 of them), I nocliped a set of pillars(sector #1664~1666) with special 70 set because the switch(line #19162) didn't worked on my latest GZDooM pre-2.1 build(g2.1.pre-1307- g4e1723e), but whatever, this map still kick ass. 5/5

This should have won a cacoward in my opinion. I believe it came in as a runner-up, but to me this is brilliant level that easily deserves to be enshrined in the Doom PWAD Hall of Fame. 5/5 stars, legendary.

It's very good looking, if not very atmospheric and certainly ice is a rare visual theme in Doom, but I didn't enjoy most of the game play.

good looking ice themed map. Gameplay is of the "never-rest" kind with lots of tough battles and balanced ammo. a tad boring in terms of switch hunt. Music was very bad and repetitive 4/5

Very nice map that is very well balanced and the winter theme is nice on the eyes. The texturing is also very refreshing and is a nice reprieve from the norm. Overall good fucking job!!! 5/5

This map had a theme and visuals, but after about ten minutes became very tedious to play. Ammo was sparse to the point that I was spamming the save button every encounter. I found myself lost several times, most notably when it came time to find the yellow key (which was almost insultingly hidden). I felt like this map really wanted to be a Serious Sam level, but lacked the ammo and attitude. 2/5

Fantastic map. It takes a lot to slow down my beast of a computer but this level gave it a shot. Will forever be on my hard drive. Played using GZDoom and seemed to work fine. Love the megasphear hidden in the mountain side. Go Deepsea baby. Blakestone 5/5 3-30-14

This is epic!!! Regardless the slowdowns at the big area, I enjoyed this very much and there is enough action without being too hard. The design is of course a masterpiece and plays good regardless. 5/5 - Optimus

I wish I could give this 5-stars. Most of it is brilliant. But there's a spot near the blue armor where if you jump down to the ice, you're stuck. Given the layout of this area, I can't imagine players not wanting to have a look down there, given that the map has already established that jumping down to the ice reveals secrets- this is an incredibly egregious error that should have been caught before release.

Fantastic scenery (look & details): solid 5/5. Gameplay is imo a bit unbalanced, and has too many snipers & monster pop-ups. And we've seen a boring 2-cybies-in-a-small- room fight a zillion times before, so 3.5/5. About the port: it runs smoothly with glboom+, but glboom+ has way more input lag compared to f.e. (G)ZDoom, which makes it more difficult to play. Overall: despite it shortcomings legendary, so 5/5.

Holy Jesus, a new Deadall map! I'm just gonna get this vote out of the way. To vote less than 5/5, is to suggest that Eternal is capable of wadding with less than perfect results. That is something I just cannot accept... 5/5

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.
