About This File

Replaces the default music with a variety of .OGG tracks that could have appeared in the original game if it had been released in the 80's. That might sound weird, but fans of the original midis might actually like this.

I don't get how "fans of the original midis might actually like this", since the original Doom soundtrack is inspired (for the most part) by 90's rock/metal, and this is 80's synth music, so it's two different styles of genres. But the music in this wad is great in it's own terms, even thought it doesn't really fit the original Doom 2 maps, but they could be useful for some other wads. 4/5

Brilliant music that you could fit into a Doom map easily, although it doesn't quite match the Doom II maps that well: it's a common complaint with most music replacement wads, don't sweat it. :) The music takes up a butt-ton of space unfortunately: if you could make seperate wads for the different IWADs that'd probably be a good idea. All in all, good music that might be in my upcoming maps. :P 4 stars. - Obsidian

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.
