10 mins of blast-fest, I love this old-school shit! :D The beginning part of level just pissed me off because narrow design of this level and I always take unnecessary damage from my back...nice multi-routes layout, and it'll be too easy if found all secrets.(But it should be intended, right?:p) 3.5/5

Why this map is rated down? It's quite cool! 4/5 - Katamori

Here we have yet another wad with a readme that spells Sandy Petersen's surname wrong. It's a fun nonlinear map with many different visual themes and gameplay situations (the lowering wall traps are a bit overused though). Heretic music didn't seem very fitting so I ended up typing IDMUS26. Cool.

Just an average map with the usual stuff we have all seen. The visuals are average; there is no jaw-dropping scenery. There is way too much ammo. In particular, there are far too many cells, and not enough tough monsters to kill with them. Any skilled Doomer will find themselves blazing through this map and forgetting what they just played. The layout is decent, but the rather boring and uninspired game play results in a yawn-fest.

This map faithfully recreates the look and feel of E3M3. Fans of nostalgia will definitely like this, but it's enjoyable even if the nostalgic element is ignored.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
