I played with the brutaldoom mod, so my experience may have been different from others. It was pretty good overall, nothing to write home about. 3/5

not bad if its your first, you actually tried (unlike certain people) but there are some errors tho, for example in the second map you can get stuck in the red door room because the lift is a one way ride (looks like oversight to me) also behind the lift was a missing texture. i didnt like the monster closet at the red key either because there where too many sg guys at once and makes it inpossible to not get hurt or take cover.

Author here, yes it was a first WAD so it won't be that good but I wanted to see what was wrong and what could be improved. Thanks to those who gave constructive comments, I shall try harder next time!

Two tiny little levels of fairly average quality with what looks like most of the DOOM2.WAD resources bundled unnecessary. 2/5 for effort.

Looks like someone's first wad. For that it isn't bad at all: all fights are entertaining, the design is simple but it does the job. Go on, make more. :)

2 short, boxy techbase maps in which you fight weaksauce enemies with predictable placement up until the end of the 2nd map, which has 1 revenant. Uses Plutonia's LITERED1 a few times, that probably should have been included instead of all the stock DOOM2 content! Doesn't use any zdoom features and could have been vanilla, but in this day and age people holding on to DOOM2.exe and BOOM shit shouldn't be accomodated to. All in all pretty decent but way too easy.

This is like going to the supermarket to buy some produce and leaving with hat stand, a protractor and a years supply of inappropriate hats. Either Mr Nautic is a idiot, or he is a complete noob! blah/5

      These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

      A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

      Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

      Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

      It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
