About This File

My own little tribute to 80's action flicks, 90's lightgun games, and what Operation: Body Count really should have been. 8 (technically 11) brand new weapons with upgrade system, a whole set of new enemies (from William Shatner's TekWar - believe me, this mod is loads better than that game), and all sorts of other neat stuff.

I love how This was released around about the same time WildWeasel was trying to push for more Original Content in the Resource section and wanting to disallow ripping content from other games.

This is the one mod that can make Twilight Warrior fun. I love how Wildweasel included that Street Fighter: the Movie: the Game sound clip when you find secrets, as well as "YOU LOSE!". The only problem I noticed is that you can hear crickets after the Barrett fires. 4/5

Pretty good, new weapons are really cool. Now if only it was easy to finds mapsets that are good fit for this. New enemies really stick out, even more than ones from Weasel's Nazis mod. They are definitely not a good fit for usual environments in Doom maps.

This mod is buggy. It freezes my computer randomly whenever I play this mod.

amazing as it is, but if someone could make some maps to specifically utilize this mod, that would be fucking awesome. 5 stars

I don't like the fact that I have to turn on mouselook so I'm not shooting the ceiling, but other than that, it's hilariously awesome and demands a mapset that fits!

I cannot stand manual reload. Sorry. This was was wayyy too cheesy, and all enemies basically the same kind of challenge. Not really fun as an enemies mod, but great as a weapons mod. If I were WW I would release this as a weapons mod ONLY, and have the gameplay mod as an add-on.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
