About This File

During an assault into an infested city, a group of marines were pinned down by a Cyberdemon. You are sent with an armoured convoy to rescue these marines, but the convoy got ambushed. You escape, but you need to proceed on foot. Jumping is required to finish this level.

I love this map, sure...it doesn't very good in level's layout and flow(and classic-gurus may hate this kind of maps) but at least we have something new, solid map. 4/5 -playerlin

I thoroughly enjoyed this map! It is honestly my favorite map to test weapons mods and enemy randomizers. I am glad that this map made a comeback in the Hell on Earth Starter Pack campaign. Great work!

This is just the way I would map it. I loved almost everything about it especially the visuals in terms of effort that went into making all the textures and sprites. And I always thought I am the one making "realistic" maps. But this guy clearly showed: Nope. *Hahaha* It's 3:30 AM. And I can't think clearly anymore. 5/5 nonetheless.

Interesting concept. Huge amount of nice detailing, great visuals and ambiance. But has also a few horrible technical errors. Gameplay is simple, uninspired and boring. Overall: take a look & walk around, taste the ambiance, then leave it and go play something else with better gameplay. 3* for some nice ideas and the effort.

Pretty annoying gameplay, feels like 99% of effort vent into visuals. I'm not impressed with Sergeant Mark's maps so far, not that I am suprised by that considering his poor reputation.

this is a really good map, I bumped into HOMs during play due to being in software but other than that the map is brilliant, you can tell Sergeant_Mark_IV has gone to extreme lengths with this map, it has been polished to the point of having news papers and other junk lying in the street, now I am mainly one for detail, this truly is some quality mapping 5/5

Nice! Maybe we would expect a megawad from Sarge to be used alongside with Brutal Doom? I mean combining his own projects seems a good idea, am I right?

Really nice touch on putting those chaingunners in the larger areas to pop you from long distances. Nothing quite like feeling the vein in my forehead throb due to frustratingly foolish level design. Also, the part where you must hop the crumbling wall off the container is a pain the the arse. The aesthetics of the map is the only reason you get my two stars. Otherwise, the monster placements were painfully awkward and the shape of some areas make getting around so painful I want to halve my keyboard.

A great heart-pulsing map, a couple of small bugs and HOMs but this is a recommended map if you have a city map fetish. One of the most interesting maps I have played in '13.

      This is a really solid WAD through and through. The action starts as soon as load into E3M1 and it doesn't let up. The maps flow very well and give you a decent but fair challenge. My only nitpick is with E3M7, which felt a bit gimmicky. Otherwise, this is a great effort, especially for 1994.

      A decent E1 replacement. The maps are mostly non-linear and they feel good to play, although there's a few odd design choices that lead to dead-ends in couple places. The maps are too easy, mostly thanks to an overabundance of items, but they're still fun enough to navigate, thanks to a good handle on basic architecture. The standout is easily map 5.

      Neat little map. The custom textures are impressive for their time. The map doesn't flow too well and the encounters aren't anything special, but it's a cool piece of Doom history.   The whole concept of modeling a school is obviously taboo nowadays, but it's still worth a try.

      A huge improvement over the first part. The maps are fun, filled with interesting encounters and a diverse enemy variety. The architecture is simple but efficient. I particularly like how a couple of the maps make you circle around back to the starting area. The music is fun and cheesy, although a couple tracks failed to loop on my end. Overall, the difficulty is balanced, except for map 2, which stands out thanks to a very nasty trap.

      I'm sad to say that I didn't have a good time with this. The maps are uninspired and confusing, while the enemy placement feels random. There's very little sense of progression through the maps. I can't knock it down too much due to its age, but by my modern standards, I wouldn't recommend it.
