About This File

The forth Wad in the series.

Find your way into the heavily guarded fort and kill the menace who guards the exit. The most difficult part of this level is the sewers. If you `PANIC` in this area you will surely die! Look for a radiation suit as soon as you can and WATCH OUT!! a monster`s about.

Beginning just shitty and I hate those walkable fences, I guess old-school maps just looks like that. The damaging floor parts of map just make me nervous...but that still not too bad since I don't have problem. It still a OK map with enough fun...for a 96 map. :p 3.5/5 -playerlin

Good - It's not a 1994 wad. Bad - It's a 1995 wad.

Good fortress map. First thing I noticed is that it seems the author was aware of the "pressing switches from below" trick because the decorations in the first area are placed so that you can't do that. Next thing I liked was the 64-wide maze. Wait, what? Yeah, believe it or not but having to worry about the radiation suits actually made it exciting. I'm running out of space here so I'll just say that this is an interesting and somewhat challenging map with a clever use of damaging floors.

Re: the first comment - This is a 1996 wad. ;) I reccomend saving before going into the 64-wide nukage hallway. Other than that, it's a competent map that's still pretty fun today. Like every single wad EVER from this era, it has extreme texture misalignments. Lower/Upper unpegged, people!

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.
