About This File

MAP01 - Scientists have made a portal to Hell. They need someone to go in. They know it is dangerous, so they find a poor janitor and send him in to "clean up." MAP02- After "moping the floor" with the demons in Hell, the janitor returns to Earth. He sees that some of the demons found the portal and fled to Earth. Now, the janitor has to "work overtime" to fix the problem.

2 minimalistic maps with 2 custom monsters, the Afrit and Weightlifter12 (!!!). Fortunately for purist hipsters, this does NOT run in non-zDoom based ports.

Hell's Janitor is slightly better than the other WADs Canofbacon has made, though this WAD was still as simple as said WADs, only with a couple of two new monsters. Also, when you have defeated Weightlifter12, he uses one of DOOMGUY's death animations after you have killed him. A slight improvement but could be better. 3/5 - Priv. Meldo Garcia Sr.

Good wad, I played this on Russian Overkill and i had fun, even if the levels don't look to detailed enough, except the final boss being WeightLifter12

1. Try compact filesize: I noticed duplicates of quite a few files when I looked in SLADE. 2. Focus on clean level design rather than flash special effects, although the Afrit was fun to fight. 3. Weightlifter12. I could go on about this, but I'll just say that it isn't overly fun to fight. Look a bit further afield for good custom bosses. 2 stars. - Obsidian

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.
