Misc. Author Info : I'm a 30 years old doomer, I make maps when it's
possible for me because most of the time I'm busy with other stuff. beyond
that I keep interested on everything related to doom, I believe mapping is
a true art which requires lots of effort, motivation and skills.
Description : this is the second episode of what is intended to
be a four episode replacement for ultimate doom taking place on the four
galilean moons of jupiter. This mapset emulates the shores of hell style,
but there is a big diference, no hell parts, I know this breaks the concept of
the second episode but What I've tried to do is to is to make "clean" deimos
bases with the tom hall touch seen in the doom alpha maps, but without being
plain and giving up spookiness. there is a strong sandy petersen influence
in some maps as well.
The story is that uac has bases on the moons of jupiter as well on those
of mars and the invasion event is simultaneous to the one on mars.
This second episode takes place on the moon Europa

* maps trivia *
e1m2: I did this map in 2 days, it was the last one and
the map's minimalist concept of detail is on purpose.
e2m2: early 2012 map, some influence from refueling base.
I put drains on the donut pools and I think that I never
saw that in any wad. I know the monster count is high but
those are mostly sargeants and zombiemen.
e2m3: this map is mostly based on a 2002 map that was lost
inside a broken hard drive, I've tried to be loyal to it.
don't worry about its name, it's not only crates ;).
e2m4: here I revere deimos lab, although it's not the same map,
my goal was the dark atmosphere.
e2m5: early 2012 map, I did some surgical intervention on it
for this release, still not very proud of it but I think it looks
better than before.
e2m6: spookiness again, I like the central area with the bridge
where you see all the keys.
e2m7: too big, my bad, too homagy, yeah, but.. I love spawning
vats, anyway some concepts were twisted or inverted like the
damaging floors. this is my compohso tribute too, and about that
trap.. even I can do it.
e2m8: early 2012 map.
favillesco e1m8 was a bit easy. this time you'll have to run.
e2m9: 2008 map, with some little changes since then, maybe
the brother of e2m3.
* changes from version 1.0 to 1.1 *
increased the difficulty a bit by enlarging the monster count by 25-45 %
depending on the level except on e2m2 & e2m8 and adding the necessary
ammo (thanks LodiB88)
e2m1: change of secret items placement (thanks scifista42)
e2m3: deleted 2 redundant shell boxes and some rockets
e2m3: fixed wrong comp texture on SE section
e2m5: switch on the NE area is more visible (thanks scifista42).
